Among several major tech initiatives Joblove has been tasked with is a move to apply to the entire studio some digital production methods that are common in visual effects shops, including Imageworks.
That includes an all-digital workflow and a "backbone" to allow sound, post and vfx to all share files without having to pass their work on with tapes and disks.
Joblove is also working on 4K and 3-D production tools for the studio.
