Button first joined Warner Bros. in 1993. As head of physical production, Button is responsible for all of the studios' projects based in the U.K., Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
He also oversees the running of the U.K.'s Leavesden Studios, which for the past few years has been the home of the "Harry Potter" franchise and is the permanent base for Warner Bros. Productions.
Button is also on the board of the Film Industry Training Board.
"Roy's respect for and understanding of the U.K. film industry has helped Warner Bros. build an enviable reputation in the world of international film, which, under his stewardship, we are extremely determined to continue to building here in the U.K.," said Steve Papazian, Warner Bros.' prexy of worldwide physical production.
