Lifetime Achievement: Ken Branagh

Rome Fiction Fest fetes longtime actor

The Brit multihyphenate will make the trek to the Eternal City to tubthump "Wallander," the BBC detective skein in which he plays the titular character and which he also produced. He recently won a producer BAFTA for the show.

Set and shot in Sweden, "Wallander," which is based on a best-selling thriller, has been a hit in the U.S. on PBS' "Masterpiece Mystery!"

Besides Branagh, the fest expects TV doctors Lisa Edelstein ("House"), Eric Dane and Justin Chambers ("Grey's Anatomy") to make a house call in the city.
