Comic-Con to air on G4

'Star Wars' is event's first-ever televised panel

G4 will broadcast a "Star Wars" panel at Comic-Con in July, marking the first televised panel in the San Diego fest's history.

Olivia Munn and Kevin Pereira will host "The Star Wars Spectacular," a taped, two-hour presentation that will include unseen footage and a table read of a new "Clone Wars" script. The panel takes place July 24; G4 will air it at 2 p.m. July 25.

G4 has set up a website for fans to submit questions to the gathering, which will feature Lucasfilm exec Steve Sansweet and "Clone Wars" supervising director Dave Filoni, along with to-be-determined voice talent.

Afterward, G4 will present three hours of live (on the East Coast) coverage from the Comic-Con floor, passing along interviews, news and world-premiere trailers and highlighting the more colorful fan costumes.
