Meanwhile, CBS’ Monday lineup, including newbie “Accidentally on Purpose,” bows on Sept. 21, the night after the net’s Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast.
The Tuesday sked, which includes newcomers “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife,” opens on Sept. 22, while Wednesday series (unchanged from last year) receive their season premieres on Sept. 23.
The rest of CBS’ Thursday night sked -- including “The Mentalist” in its big move to the night -- clocks in on Sept. 24. And Friday’s sked, which now boasts the Eye preem of “Medium,” launches on Sept. 25.
The 42nd season premiere of “60 Minutes” will lead into a two-hour “The Amazing Race” on Sept. 27, along with “Cold Case” in its new slot at 10. That means new Sunday drama “Three Rivers” will bow the following week, on Oct. 4.
As for Saturdays, “48 Hours Mystery” has its season premiere on Sept. 26.
