Hare to premiere 'Power' play

Show will open at London's National Theater

David Hare will preem a play at London's National Theater this fall, with "The Power of Yes: A Dramatist Seeks to Understand the Financial Crisis" beginning perfs in October.

Hare wrote "Power of Yes" in response to the economic downturn after meetings with major figures from the world of finance.

Angus Jackson helms the show, to be designed by Bob Crowley ("The Coast of Utopia"). No cast has yet been announced.

Show opens at the National's Lyttelton Theater on Oct. 6.
