"Live," developed in part through work-in-progress perfs earlier this year at Gotham venues Barrow Street Theater and the Actor's Playhouse, follows Leguizamo's early career in downtown legit, a story bolstered by anecdotes about his family, his relationships and his later stints on Hollywood movie sets.
Performer has a number of solo outings on his resume, including "Mambo Mouth," "Spic-O-Rama," and Broadway offerings "Freak" and "Sexaholix."
Produced by WestBeth Entertainment, "Live" bows at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, Conn., July 10 and goes on to stops in cities including Toronto, Santa Fe and Indianapolis.
