Endemol had previously relied on outside agencies for its PR, but Aspey will now oversee Endemol's North American publicity -- including both corporate issues and shows.
"After eight years of continuing growth at Endemol, which now includes three other companies and the move into two countries (Mexico and Canada), it became clear that I needed somebody inhouse who would work with me on a daily basis, focusing the PR agenda of our company," said Endemol North America chairman David Goldberg. "Chantelle had a tremendous enthusiasm for our company, and I wanted to bring someone in who would be an out-of-the-box thinker, as opposed to somebody who looked at PR in a more traditional sense."
Aspey joins Endemol from 42West, where she spent four years working with clients such as Justin Long, Terrence Howard, Denis Leary, Edward Norton and Amy Ryan. Before 42West, she was at Stan Rosenfield & Associates.
As for Levin, the exec was formerly VP of alternative programming at New Line. She'll now report to programming senior VP Robert Smith and work on series such as "Dating in the Dark," "20Q" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
"She's a reality veteran with a terrific creative sense and the mind of a producer," Smith said.
At New Line, Levin's projects included "Family Foreman," "Confrontation," "Amish in the City" and "High School Confidential."
