Zoofest to spotlight emerging artists

Comedy festival set for July 10 - 26

The Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal has created a parallel fest for emerging artists.

Zoofest will showcase more than 120 performers in 70 shows, which will include theater, dance, circus, comedy, music and family shows. Twenty-seven of the shows are produced by the Just for Laughs Group. Silent Disco, which was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, will have its North American preem. Just for Laughs Montreal and Zoofest run July 10-26.
