Overture Films' 'Mad Money,' released in January 2008, can begin airing on Lifetime in the second quarter of 2010.
Lifetime has acquired the cable TV rights to "Mad Money," the first pic released by Overture Films.
Cabler will pay license fees to Overture of just under $4 million, some 20% of the film's $20 million domestic gross.
Deal was brokered by Starz Media, the parent company of Overture that handles the studio's domestic TV sales.
Lifetime can begin airing the film in the second quarter of 2010.
Directed by Callie Khouri, the comedy about a group of women who begin robbing banks stars Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes and Ted Danson. It opened in January 2008.
Starz and Lifetime have had a previous working relationship, with Starz co-producing telepics "Wisegal," "Queen Sized" and "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet." "Mad Money" currently airs on pay cabler Starz.
