The offering, "A Cool Dip in the Barren Saharan Crick," is the final show to be added to the org's six-show season. Chay Yew directs the play, about an African preacher in the American South.
A co-production with the Play Company and the Culture Project, "Cool Dip" will play the smaller of the two stages at Playwrights Horizons in the spring.
The org disclosed additional casting for some of its previously announced shows, including Glenn Fitzgerald ("Dirty Sexy Money"), Louis Cancelmi ("Blasted") and Eisa Davis ("Passing Strange") in the Parker Posey topliner "This," penned by Melissa James Gibson. Reed Birney ("Blasted"), Peter Friedman ("Ragtime") and Off Broadway vet Deirdre O'Connell will star in Annie Baker's fall offering "Circle Mirror Transformation."
