Swedish 'Girl' sold to five territories

Momentum has taken the pic, which is the first in the "Millennium" trilogy, in the U.K., Rialto in Australia, Rosebud in Greece, Gussi in Mexico and Clardin in Argentina.
Pic had previously been sold to UGC in France, Frenetic in Switzerland, Lumiere in Benelux, Bim in Italy, Vertigo in Spain, Alliance in French-speaking Canada and Monolith in Poland.
Marathon Group is handling sales.
Outside of Scandinavia, where it attracted more than 2.6 million admissions and a box office cume of $38 million, pic has so far pulled in more than 1.3 million admissions.
Mikael Wallen, CEO at production company Yellow Bird, said the company is negotiating with several U.S. distribs.
The other pics in the trilogy — based on books by Stieg Larsson — are "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest."
