"Days," with music and lyrics by Gwon, is an almost entirely sung-through story about the interconnected lives of four young Gothamites. Marc Bruni, associate director for "Legally Blonde," helms.
Gwon was a 2008 winner of the Fred Ebb Award for musical theater songwriting. Last year "Days" got a showcase at the National Alliance for Musical Theater fest. Future stagings are lined up at South Coast Rep and Ohio's Human Race Theater, among other regional troupes.
Roundabout Underground bowed in 2007 with "Speech and Debate," which was followed the next year by "The Language of Trees."
"Days" begins previews Oct. 2 ahead of an Oct. 25 opening.
