The Cologne-based distrib also acquired "Keep It Together," starring Jessica Alba, "The Killer Elite," with Jason Statham, "Game of Death" with Wesley Snipes and Michael Douglas' "Solitary Man."
Splendid also inked deals for "Bitch Slap," "Ninja," "Gene 2.0," and horror pics "Dead Snow" and "Pig Hunt."
Pics are in production or post-production and Splendid said they will be released at the end of this year.
In further Cannes deal news, Beta Cinema, the theatrical arm of Munich-based international sales company Beta Film, reported doing solid business in Cannes despite the economic crisis.
It sold "North Face" to the U.S. (Music Box Films) and Canada (Mongrel Media), and "Princess Lillifee" to Spain (Flins & Piniculas), Benelux (Dutch Filmworks), Israel (Shapira) and the Near East (Italia Film).
Four-time German Film Award-winner "John Rabe" was sold to the Benelux (ABC Distribution) and Mexico (Cine Video y Television).
