Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group picked up rights to Italy, Spain, Latin America and all Asian territories excluding South Korea, having already secured all English-speaking territory rights. And Independent struck deals in France (Swift Distribution), Scandinavia (Nonstop Entertainment), Benelux (A-Film Distribution), Middle East (Shooting Stars), CIS (CP Digital), Poland (Monolith Films), Greece (Seven Films), Turkey (Mars Production), South Korea (Daisy Entertainment) and German-speaking Europe (Telepool).
"Moon," which bows in the U.S. via Sony Pictures Classics on June 12 and in the U.K. on July 17, had its world premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
