The Banff World Television Festival will honor Shaftesbury Films with the 2009 Lionsgate/Maple Pictures Innovative Producer Award.
Shaftesbury chair-CEO Christina Jennings will accept the nod, which recognizes the achievements of an independent producer in the Canuck TV industry, during the fest's Alberta Film Awards lunch on June 8.
Shaftesbury's recent productions include "The Listener" for NBC, Canuck web CTV and Fox Intl. Channels.
