MTV sets 'Real World' bow

22nd season of franchise to begin on June 24

MTV has set June 24 as the premiere date for its next edition of "The Real World" franchise.

Newest installment takes place in Cancun, Mexico, with eight roommates living in the ME Hotel against a backdrop of newly created and broken friendships.

"Cancun" marks the 22 season of "Real World," which is exec produced by Jon Murray and Jim Johnston.
