Barry Watts to lead Screenlife

New CEO to spearhead Scene It? franchise

Barry Watts has been tapped CEO of Screenlife Games, the publisher of DVD-based games including Scene It?

Watts will spearhead the growth of the Scene It? franchise, which has been aggressively pursuing licensing deals to introduce new editions.

It launched versions based on "Seinfeld" and the Disney Channel last year, and has new ones around "Star Trek," "Ice Age" and "The Simpsons" this year.

Seattle-based Screenlife is owned by Paramount Digital Entertainment.

Watts already has experience in the DVD games space, having created MusicandBrands, in 2001, which produced interactive DVDs based on "High School Musical," "Hannah Montana" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, among other properties.
