O'Brien takes over hosting duties on NBC's latenight staple beginning June 1, taking over for Jay Leno, who begins his own 10 p.m. Peacock show in the fall.
Ferrell, who also hosted the finale of "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend and was one of O'Brien's last guests on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," will be on the couch to promote his latest film, "Land of the Lost."
Pearl Jam will perform a song from its upcoming studio album, which is currently being recorded in Atlanta.
In addition to changing hosts, "The Tonight Show" is also moving locations. After decades at NBC in Burbank, the show will now tape at Universal Studios.
