Dutch production outfit Isabella Films and the UK's Film and Music Entertainment (F&ME) have pacted on two pics.
First pic is Martin Koolhoven's "The Ugly," an English language project penned by Robert Fusco about misfit cowboys and a side-show freak, will be shot in Spain.
Pics will be produced by Isabella's Els Vandevorst and F&ME's Mike Downey and Sam Taylor.
Along with another Dutch outfit Bos Bros, Isabella and F&ME also joined forces also on Vincent Bal's "The Zig Zag Kid," a Dutch-French language pic based on a book by Israeli author David Grossmann.
Both films will post at Molinare in London.
Helmer Stephen Daldry is a partner in F&ME. Isabella Films and F&ME previously collaborated on a film directed by Theo van Gogh at the time of his death.
