Story revolves around a middle-aged couple who wind up attending the same college as their son.
Project marks the first script sale for Wilson, who produced "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and exec produced "Mamma Mia!"
Wilson's upcoming acting projects include the Disney comedy "Old Dogs," opposite John Travolta and Robin Williams. She is shooting Universal Pictures' untitled Nancy Meyers romantic comedy.
