Fortissimo secures Neil Young docu

Jonathan Demme directs concert film

Fortissimo Films has secured all rights outside North America for the Jonathan Demme-directed "Neil Young Trunk Show," the concert docu that has a special screening at the fest Saturday. The film was produced by Demme and Young's production outfits Clinica Estetico and Shakey Pictures together with Lookout Management.

The deal was signed by Fortissimo topper Michael J. Werner and Lookout's Elliott Roberts. This is the second Jonathan Demme docu feature Fortissimo has acquired in the last 18 months following the previously announced "Marley." This is the third Demme-helmed Young music docu, after "Neil Young: Heart of Gold" and "The Complex Sessions."
