Nu Image has taken foreign rights to 3-D thriller "Dark Country," helmed by and starring Thomas Jane ("The Punisher"). Pic co-stars Ron Perlman and Lauren German, and concerns newlyweds who find themselves on a hellish stretch of a Nevada highway.
"Dark" was produced by Hyde Park's Patrick Aiello and Ashok Amritraj.
Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group holds domestic rights and will release the film theatrically through a third party.
