Marathon Group, a unit of DeAgostini's new pan-European production group Zodiak, has inked a series of sales on Swedish blockbuster "Millennium," based on Stieg Larsson's bestselling trilogy. Pic, which bowed in Gaul on May 13, was nabbed by Spain's Vertigo, Italy's Bim, Canada's Alliance and Poland's Monolith.
Millenium is skedded to bow in Spain on May 29, Italy and Canada on May 29, Switzerland and Belgium on May 20. Marathon is in talks with U.K. and German buyers, per Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet, commercial director of Marathon Intl.
