Gotham-based firm will cater to film, TV, legit, publishing, music and vidgame companies with media planning and creative services. It will vie with established players NRG, MarketCast (which is owned by Variety parent Reed Business Information) and OTX.
"We intend to discover what the marketplace is asking for and then figure out the best way to deliver what audiences want," Craig said.
Craig spent five years as exec VP and general manager of NRGi, an arm of NRG that he founded in 2004 to focus on indie film and legit campaigns. Before that, he spent 12 years in various units of NRG and was a creative marketing exec at Paramount.
Faber ran marketing for the Weinstein Co., where his successes included "Hoodwinked" and "The Reader." Starting in publicity, he contributed to many of the late-Weinstein-era Miramax breakouts, including "Chicago," "In the Bedroom," "City of God" and "Gangs of New York."
