TBS has added Martin Short as one of the hosts of three comedy specials it will air next month coming out of the inaugural Very Funny comedy fest in Chicago.

Ellen DeGeneres and David Alan Grier are also set to host hourlong speshes for the cabler.

The programs, to be taped during the mid-June Very Funny festival, which TBS is sponsoring, will begin airing June 26, starting with �Let Freedom Hum -- An Evening of Comedy Hosted by Martin Short.� Grier will host the following night, followed June 28 by DeGeneres in a finale that will feature live music and dancing.

Comedians scheduled to appear include Mark Curry, Greg Giraldo, Tom Papa, John Pinette and Aries Spears. Mary Connelly, Ed Glavin and Andy Lassner of �The Ellen DeGeneres Show� will serve as exec producers on her special.

The Very Funny festival is the latest offshoot of the Just for Laughs comedy fest franchise that originated in Montreal nearly three decades ago.
