Looks like we may have to wait a bit longer for that "Phantom" sequel: The London papers are reporting that "Love Never Dies," Andrew Lloyd Webber's upcoming tuner about the continuing exploits of the characters of "The Phantom of the Opera," has been pushed back til spring 2010.

Directed by Jack O'Brien, "Love Never Dies" was originally supposed to kick off this fall with a preem in London followed quickly by productions in Toronto, Gotham and an undetermined Asian territory.

Reason given for the delay involved the re-orchestration of the score.

With the London preem -- said to be toplined by Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess ("The Little Mermaid") -- pushed back, the timeline for successive productions (including Broadway) remains up in the air.
