The project reteams "I, Robot" scribe Jeff Vintar and producer Laurence Mark, who'll produce with Boom! Studios co-founders Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie.
In "Station," five nations have sent their finest astronauts to operate Earth's first multinational space station, but when one turns up dead, the remaining personnel race against time to discover if it was sabotage, an accident or murder.
The comicbook was created and written by Johanna Stokes. "This feels like a Hitchcock movie in a James Cameron setting, and Jeff is ideally suited to adapt this graphic novel," said Mark.
David Blackman will be exec producer.
CBS Films just inked Dwayne Johnson to star for director Phil Joanou in the actioner "Faster" (Daily Variety, May 7) and is in production on the Tom Vaughan-directed Untitled Crowley Project. Upcoming is the Alan Poul-directed "The Back-Up Plan."
Mark also produced "Julie and Julia," the Nora Ephron-directed Meryl Streep-Amy Adams starrer that Sony releases on Aug. 7.
