American-based "Game Show," produced by A. Smith and Co., won the Golden Rose after taking home top reality show honors. The Golden Rose winner is deemed best show of all the award recipients selected at the international TV confab and competition.
Other winners were "The Curse of the Mona Lisa" (U.K.) for arts documentary; "Rick Mercer Report" (Canada) for comedy; "Windfall and Misfortunes" (Canada) for drama; "The Anthill" (Spain) for entertainment; "Relentless" (U.K.) for gameshow; "The Eternity Man" (Australia) for performing arts; "La Traviata at Zurich Main Station" (Switzerland) for performing arts -- special mention; "Whack the Mole: The MI High Alternate Reality Game" (Canada) for multiplatform; "The Telephone" (Canada) for pitch pilot; and "My Family" (U.K.) for sitcom.
Winners were selected by a 25-member jury from 22 countries.
