Grevioux will also pen the script.
“The Pale Horsemen” is described as a supernatural thriller that revolves around a gang of hitmen who are forced to work together to uncover who killed their mentor.
Book is published through Grevioux’s DarkStorm Studios imprint.
Nehst will produce the pic with Sandrunner Entertainment and DarkStorm Filmworks, with Meistrich, Ari Friedman and Shane Walker serving as producers, while H. Michael Heuser is exec producer.
Meistrich, who founded the Shooting Gallery, launched Nehst Studios in 2007 as a film production, financing and distribution company.
Grevioux and Len Wiseman wrote the original screenplay for the first “Underworld” pic, which bowed in 2003 and spawned two additional installments. Grevioux also appears in the first film.
The film rights to several of Grevioux’s other graphic novels have also recently been picked up, including “ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction,” optioned by Benderspink, and “I, Frankenstein,” at Death Ray Films.
