HOLLYWOOD -- Elizabeth Banks is on the clock for DreamWorks workplace comedy "Forever 21."

Actress will topline and produce the project through her shingle, Brownstone Prods.

Banks brought the spec, written by Mike Culbert and Mike Pellettieri, into DreamWorks, which is keeping the high-concept storyline under wraps.

Max Handelman and Hal Lieberman are also onboard to produce. Brian Paschal is exec producing.

Last week, New Line bought the female-driven comedy pitch "What Was I Thinking?" as a star vehicle for Banks and Leslie Mann. Banks' recent credits include horror film "The Uninvited" and Oliver Stone's "W."
