New Line has bought femme comedy pitch "What Was I Thinking?" with Leslie Mann and Elizabeth Banks attached to star and Lynda Obst producing.

Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz sold the pitch, based on the book of the same name by Barbara Davilman and Liz Dubelman. The story centers on a quartet of girlfriends who take a hedonistic ski trip after one of them gets dumped.

Fogel and Lefkowitz wrote "Little Darlings" for J.J. Abrams and Paramount and the Sarah Jessica Parker HBO pilot "The Washingtonienne"

Mann's starring in New Line's "17 Again," opening today, and will be seen this summer in "Funny People" and "Shorts." Banks recently starred in "The Uninvited."

Obst produced Ricky Gervais' "This Side of the Truth," to be released in September by Warner Bros.

The writing team told Daily Variety that the inspiration for their take on "Thinking" came from a multitude of pivotal points in relationship stories. "We found there's always that moment where a voice inside says 'get out,'" Fogel noted.
