Fox Broadcasting has tapped Gaude Lydia Paez as its new corporate communications exec.
Paez joins the network as VP of corporate communications and will report to Shannon Ryan, Fox's senior VP of publicity and corporate communications.
Paez previously headed up corporate communications at Veoh Networks.
At Fox, Paez will serve as a spokeswoman for Fox Broadcasting execs and also work with the media on topics such as ratings, exec initiatives and industry news. She'll also take part in ongoing strategic planning for the net's brand.
Paez fills the void left when Scott Grogin moved over to the Fox Networks Group side, working with Tony Vinciquerra.
Before Veoh, Paez was director of corporate communications at Yahoo, handling media and influencer relations, issues management and internal communications.
Paez's resume also includes stints at New York agencies BSMG Worldwide (now Weber Shandwick) and Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, where she first worked in corporate media and crisis communications.
