Usher
Usher will be given the Family Focus Award for his work with youth charity New Look at L.A.'s BEST 14th annual family brunch, to be held June 7 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.
The org will also honor
Variety with the Community Partner kudo, recognizing the paper as a key supporter of the Community Jam Against Violence held in December. The award will be accepted by
Variety president Neil Stiles.
Mirla Urzula will be feted with the org's alumnus nod.
Proceeds from the brunch will go to L.A.'s BEST's after-school program, which serves more than 28,000 elementary school students in the L.A. area.
