Studio has nabbed the pitch "We'll Be Out by Christmas," by scribes Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan ("How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days").
Blue Star's William Sherak and Jason Shuman are producing alongside Madeleine Sherak.
William is the son and Madeleine Sherak is the spouse of former Revolution and 20th Century Fox exec Tom Sherak. Story is based on an original idea from the Sherak family and is dubbed autobiographical.
Comedy chronicles what happens when times get tough and you have no choice but to take your whole family and move back in with your parents.
Buckley and Regan are currently re-writing "Brown Envelope" for Fox Searchlight with Todd Black producing. Betty Bynum penned the original script.
