Drewel
Lifetime has announced two key PR hires, tapping Lindsay Drewel and Les Eisner to veepee positions.
As VP of corporate communications, the Los Angeles-based Eisner will take a post Lifetime recently relocated to the West Coast from Gotham. He'll seek to strategically position the channel's programming, distribution, ad sales, marketing, research and advocacy activities within the trade and business media.
Eisner was a longtime key operative for the Lippin Group, overseeing accounts including DirecTV, Hallmark Channel, Tribune Entertainment and NATPE. He also served a three-year stint at Fox, handling PR for the Twentieth TV syndie division and the launch of MyNetworkTV.
As VP of publicity and talent relations, Drewel will oversee PR for all Lifetime programming. Drewel, who worked at the net from 2001-05, returns to the channel after serving as president of her own agency, where she handled clients including National Geographic, PBS and Fox News. She also did work for Lifetime during this period.
Prior to originally joining Lifetime in 2001, Drewel worked as a special assistant to Vice President Al Gore in the Clinton White House.
