Kids boost Nickelodeon's ratings

Awards show brings in 7.7 million viewers

Nickelodeon enjoyed its highest ratings ever for its "Kids' Choice Awards," with 7.7 million viewers tuning in the kudocast Saturday.

Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, and featuring appearances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Black, the Jonas Brothers and Beyonce Knowles, the kudocast also delivered its best-ever perf in kids 2-11 (3.8 million) and kids 6-11 (3.0 million).

Meanwhile, broadband channel Nick.com had its biggest ever traffic Saturday, driven by a site set up specifically for the awards.
