As CEO of Cinema Solutions, Anita Watts has played a huge role in streamlining the way cinema owners and vendors buy and sell.
Her company's Web-based e-procurement system serves as a virtual trading site. She is being honored with ShoWest's 2009 Bert Nathan Memorial Award.
"I saw a real opportunity to change the manual processes and to improve operations," says the San Antonio-based Watts, who began her career exporting Ricos' nacho products internationally. "To have earned the respect of my peers for (the system) is very humbling."
