Link TV unveils 'Cinemondo' slate

Peter Scarlet will co-curate series

Link TV has announced its slate for the fourth season of “Cinemondo,” which starts April 11. The series will again be co-curated by Peter Scarlet, who recently ankled the Tribeca Film Festival.

Scarlet, now exec director of the Middle East Film Festival in Abu Dhabi, will host showings of movies from Israel (David Volach’s “My Father, My Lord”), Mexico (Francisco Vargas’ “The Violin”), Russia (Alexander Sokurov’s “Alexandra”), Turkey (Huseyin Karabey’s “My Marlon and Brando”), and Egypt (Youssef Chahine’s “Cairo Station” in a new print).

The films will debut one per week through May 13.
