"Step Brothers" funnyman Adam Scott has signed on to star alongside Amy Adams and Matthew Goode in Spyglass' romantic comedy "Leap Year."
Story centers on a young woman who travels to Dublin to propose to her boyfriend (Scott) on Leap Day. When weather forces her to veer off course, she enlists a cynical Irish innkeeper (Goode) to join her on a cross-country trip.
Anand Tucker directs from a script by Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan. Shooting begins this month in Ireland.
Scott, whose credits also include HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me," stars in the Starz series "Party Down," which premieres Friday.
