President Obama's historic victory continues to have ripple effects around the world.
The latest is Tamil thesp
Rajnikanth starrer "Arasan the Don."
A poster for the pic depicts the faces of Obama and Rajnikanth side by side with the phrase "Black man ... big history" in English and "Today we hunt and tomorrow we bag the prize" in Tamil.
Pic is actually a dubbed version of the 1991 Bollywood release "Khoon ka karz." The new version, which will unspool later this month in theaters, has been recut to boost Rajnikanth's role.
What does Obama have to do with the pic? Absolutely nothing.
But the filmmakers may be hoping moviegoers won't remember what a miserable flop the original was.
