Following the departure of distribution prexy Steve Friedman, Ion Media Networks has reorganized its distribution efforts, with company exec VP John Lawson now directly in charge of them.
Lawson will lead the company's new integrated distribution group, which manages relationships with multichannel operators, broadcast affiliates and D.C. policy makers.
Friedman will now serve as an outside consultant.
