HOLLYWOOD -- Universal will release Ridley Scott's take on Robin Hood on May 14, 2010.
The Russell Crowe-Cate Blanchett starrer was originally titled "Nottingham." Indications are that U will change the title to the more identifiable "Robin Hood," but for now studio says the pic is untitled.
U's move fills out the May 2010 calendar.
Paramount and Marvel Entertainment open "Iron Man 2" on May 2, while Par/DreamWorks Animation go out with "Shrek Goes Fourth" on May 21. Disney unspools "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" on May 28.
Scott is skedded to begin lensing in the next two months.
