Record was spokesperson for Homeboy Industries, an organization for youths who were formerly involved in gangs or otherwise at risk. He worked as office manager for more than 11 years for Wendy Finerman. He also worked as a production assistant on films including “Forrest Gump,” “Guess Who,” “First Sunday” and “S.W.A.T.” and on commercial and music videos.
Services will be held Fridayat 7 p.m. at Dolores Mission, 170 South Gless St.
He is survived by three sons.
