ABC has given a late-season pilot order to an adaptation of the Britcom “Pulling.”
Pickup had been in the works for weeks but was finally made official on Friday.
ABC Studios is behind “Pulling,” which was written by scribe Rob Hanning and will be directed by Elliot Hegarty.
Show is based on the U.K. series about three single women who move in together after one breaks off her engagement the day before her wedding.
Sharon Horgan and Dennis Kelly created the U.K. series and will serve as exec producers.
Also aboard as exec producers are Stacy Traub, who will serve as showrunner, and Francie Calfo.
