Comedy Central has greenlit a series that will feature comedian Daniel Tosh delivering biting commentary about blogs and various other Internet destinations.

The cabler has ordered 10 episodes of weekly series "Tosh.0," which is slated to go into production immediately and premiere on the channel in June.

"Finally, a television show that steals from the Internet, as opposed to the other way around," quipped Tosh, who made Variety's 10 Comics to Watch list in 2006.

Tosh will executive produce the show along with Mike Gibbons.

Separately, Comedy Central announced Thursday that it has partnered with Viacom sibling Paramount Vantage in acquiring the series and feature-film rights to the recently released book "Ghosts/Aliens" by Trey Hamburger.

Comedy Central's pilot script will be penned by Phil Johnston ("A Friggin' Christmas Miracle," "Jeremy Orm Is a Pervert'). Scott Aversano and Carrie Beck of Aversano Films are producing both the film and TV projects.
