Carousel partners Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartstock will also produce along with Bob Cooper, who worked on the project when it was in development at New Line. Kim Barker ("License to Wed") is scripting.
"Hi-T" revolves around a man dealing with uncontrollable mood swings after an injury forces him to take testosterone injections.
Carell, Degeneres and Hartsock are also producing the Ed Helms Civil War comedy through Warner-based Carousel (Daily Variety, Feb. 26).
