HighRoad options 'Silent Thunder'

Story tracks Len Miller's rise in racing world

HighRoad Entertainment has optioned rights to the pic "Silent Thunder," based on the story of Leonard "Len" W. Miller, the first black owner of an auto-racing team.

Script, written by Miller's son Leonard T. Miller, follows Miller's rise in the racing world to his eventual founding of Black American Racers and Vanguard Racing.

HighRoad recently unveiled its sports division.

"Silent Thunder" marks the fourth sports-related feature to be optioned by the company. The other three are "The Perfect Game" and the docs "Running the Sahara" and "For Right or Wrong."
