G4 to explore 'Underground'

Series will investigate pop culture myths

Comcast-owned cable network G4 is set to launch a pop culture-themed investigative series.

Premiering on the net, which is targeted at young males, at 9 p.m. March 29, the half-hour "G4 Underground" will explore subjects including urban spelunking, ninja schools and superheroes.

G4 will produce the docu-style series inhouse, with six episodes running this spring and six more set for the beginning of summer.

Morgan Webb, co-host of G4's vidgame-themed "X-Play," will also host the new series.
