Katie Cassidy, the daughter of thesp/producer David Cassidy, has been cast as Ella in the Dub's upcoming "Melrose Place" redux. Also, Steven R. McQueen - the grandson of Steve McQueen - is set to play Jeremy in "Vampire Diaries."
McQueen's credits include "Everwood" and "CSI: Miami," while Cassidy appeared in "Supernatural" and "7th Heaven."
CBS Paramount TV is behind "Melrose," while Warner Bros. TVis producing "Vampire" along with Alloy Entertainment.
